   Probably the problem is that the game directories in the steam path of game are in «only read» status and it is not possible to remove the setting (probably a register setting).

The maximum will be is steam is late because they are working to delete the update.bin file from the patch.

    Incredible! Installing the patch manually the game becomes «steam-independing» (no more necessity to have steam active). So at the end they are probably late because they are working to create a version steam depending of patch.

    A player try to use the exe version of patch, but the patch signal him, he must install XIII century blood of europe, but the steam version is the gold edition, so the patch don’t see the game as installed.
